His reporting has connected developments in Mexico directly with audiences in the United States. In Washington, D.C., he has covered major international affairs and U.S. politics, while in Arizona he reports on border and immigration issues alongside local and regional developments.
His multimedia work also extends beyond traditional newsrooms. In Washington, D.C., he produced and edited a COVID-19 relief campaign for the Arcadia Foundation, documenting food-assistance operations and communicating their impact to the community. Today, Andrés serves as a reporter and newswriter for TelevisaUnivision, Inc., continuing to expand his experience in the U.S. media industry while developing his work as an independent journalist and content creator. He is also actively engaged with international media forums and professional journalism organizations, participating in events at venues such as the National Press Club and through the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ). His career reflects a combination of leadership, versatility, cross-cultural reporting experience, and adaptability, allowing him to navigate different media formats.
